Declines dominate market activity.

Activity in 11 securities generated a total volume of 104,983 shares and a total value of $1.90 million. Guardian Holdings Ltd (GHL) led the market as 55,344 shares were traded for a value of $801,988.00.

Neal & Massy Holdings Ltd (NML) and Sagicor Financial Corporation (SFC) contributed 15,101 shares and 11,814 shares valued at $740,468.19 and $124,637.70. National Flour Mills Ltd posted a volume of 6,500 shares and value of $4,875.00, while 5,000 shares of Jamaica Money Market Brokers Ltd (JMMB) changed hands for a value of $1,850.00.

Declines outpaced advances 3:1. JMMB was the sole advancing security of the day, climbing $0.03 to $0.37. Republic Bank Ltd (RBL) fell $0.49 to $85.50. NML shed $0.19 on its way to $49.00 and Guardian Holdings slipped $0.01 to $14.49. The Mutual Fund Market, Second Tier Market and Bond Market were inactive. The Composite Index was down 0.61 points, settling at 776.05. The All T&T Index plunged 2.25 points to end at 1,079.45. The Cross Listed Index, however, closed at 58.63.
