Neal & Massy leads at end of week

Activity in thirteen securities generated a total volume traded of 126,092 shares and traded value of $6.25 million. Local issues, Neal & Massy Holdings Limited and Republic Bank Limited led the day’s activity with respective trade volumes of 79,313 shares and 23,316 shares and values of $3.93 million and $2.01 million.

Sagicor Financial Corporation, West Indian Tobacco Company Limited and First Caribbean International Bank Limited posted volumes of 5,596 shares, 4,842 shares and 3,310 shares and values of $56,631.52, $111,758.26 and $28,797.00 in that order. Overall, a total of 718,047 shares changed hands during the week, at a market value of $18.10 million. Prestige Holdings Limited was the most active security with 201,000 shares crossing the floor of the exchange for a market value of $613,020.00.

Scotiabank was the only security to witness a price change, climbing $0.01 to $28.01. There was no activity on the Mutual Fund or Second Tier market. The Composite Index gained 0.02 to close on 799.72, down 5.91 points for the week. The All T&T Index increased by 0.04 points to 1,089.29, limiting its weekly loss to 12.68 points. The Cross Listed Index stood firm at 63.06, having climbed 0.07 points over the past week.
